Stan is Director for Transforming Practices with Congregational Life Ministries of the Church of the Brethren. An ordained minister, Stan has pastored two congregations and energized supporting the development of new churches. He resides in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with his wife Julie and daughter Courtney. During Courtney’s early elementary years she was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. Now a teenager, Courtney is thriving as a person and student with the support of family and some genuine friends.

Stan is a coach, consultant, mentor, and teacher. He has developed resources and presented workshop topics on church leadership, congregational vitality, transitional ministry, congregational care ministries, strategic planning, evangelism, and emerging missional church movements. Stan focuses on cultivating healthy congregations and developing effective leaders.

Stan is a graduate of Fresno Pacific College (Fresno, CA) and Lancaster Theological Seminary (Lancaster, PA).  He is a certified leadership coach with the International Coaching Federation, Marshall Goldsmith’s Global Leadership and Stakeholder Centered Coaching, and Multiple Health Systems.
