Rebekah has a BA in Psychology and Special Education from Barat College, formerly of Lake Forest, IL. She also studied at Bethany Seminary focusing on youth ministry. For nearly a decade, Rebekah has been in Case Management and supported adults with disabilities as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP).
In her roles she also trained others to be Direct Service Providers (DSP) as well as other case managers. She spent 7 years a part of the L’Arche Chicago community, serving in many roles. Currently, Rebekah is a Field Associate for Anabaptist Disabilities Network (ADNET) and represents the Church of the Brethren as the Disabilities Advocate.
She is also a nanny for 3 awesome boys! Rebekah is an active member at Highland Avenue Church of the Brethren, in Elgin, where she is part of the deacon administrative group, the church board and youth advisor/ teacher.
